The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has issued a final reminder to secondary schools to submit Continuous Assessment (CA) scores for 2026 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) candidates by midnight today, Wednesday, 30 September 2026.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the Board said its portal will remain open until midnight to allow schools that have not yet finalised their submissions to do so.
“Today the 30th of September, 2026 is the final day for the submission of scores for Continuous Assessment for the UCE Candidates. This is therefore a final reminder for schools that have not finalised submission of ALL the scores of their candidates to do so by midnight tonight,” the statement reads.
For schools unable to submit online, UNEB has provided an alternative. They can generate the scores using the AMIS 2026 Software Application, save the Excel file onto a compact disc (CD) and deliver it physically to the Continuous Assessment offices at Kyambogo, Rooms 24 and 26.
The statement, signed by Principal Public Relations Officer Jennifer Kalule-Musamba, warned schools to ensure that no candidate has missing scores.
“Schools are advised to take heed, and ensure that NO candidate has missing scores, as this will imply that they will not be graded by UNEB,” the statement reads.
Under the competence-based curriculum, CA accounts for 20 per cent of the final assessment, while the final examination accounts for the remaining 80 per cent.
Head teachers and directors of studies have been urged to cross-check their submissions before the portal closes to ensure all candidates’ scores have been captured correctly and to minimise errors that could affect final grades. The reminder comes as UNEB prepares for the 2026 UCE examinations.
