The Prime Minister of Uganda, Rt. Hon Robina Nabbanja, on Wednesday flagged off the distribution of road equipment procured by Govt of Uganda from Japan for 14 new districts. Each district received a Wheel Loader & Motor grader, pending procurement of the other equipment that makes a complete road unit.
Gen Katumba Wamala, the Works and Transport Minister, cautioned the district leaders that the equipment are fitted with tracking devices. He warned them against abusing and misusing the equipment. The Premier cautioned CAOs that anyone who misuses them will cause them to be withdrawn.
